I am very happy to announce that Melanie aka PurpleKecleon has joined DoujinPress staff.  After a very busy but fabulous weekend with her at SacAnime, we decided late Sunday evening to bring her into the fold.  Starting this week, Melanie will be representing DoujinPress (along with her own organization) at conventions across the United States.  Depending on the setup and audience of the conventions, Melanie will be selling DoujinPress exclusive items at:

• Mechacon – Sept 7-9, New Orleans LA
• Midwestria – Sept 14-16, St. Charles, IL
• Rainfurrest (AA) – Sept 27-30, Seattle, WA
• Aki-con – Oct 26-28, Bellevue, WA
• SacAnime – Jan 4-6, Sacramento, CA

Melanie will also occasionally be involved with other things like artist recruitment and marketing efforts.  I am really looking forward to this arrangement and hope that between the two of us we can do some really awesome things for all the really awesome artists that work with DP!

From the fabulous and talented Hinagi comes a new doujinshi based on the skirt-wearing and generally pretty gay pirate series ‘Moretsu Pirates’.  Featuring the main duo, Marika and Chiaki, this doujin is sure to please just about any yuri fan.

Exhausted after a long day on the bridge, all Marika wants to do is take a nap… Well, that’s how it starts at least.

Hinagi is a member of the Blue Muffin circle, and this is the second Blue Muffin contribution to DoujinPress. This is also Hinagi’s second book, her first being the doujin short Erinnerungen Ferne.

It’s official! The fabulous artist who recently put out PMD Explorers 1 with DoujinPress, PurpleKecleon aka Melanie, will be attending SacAnime 2012 this summer!

If you live within range of Sacramento, CA it’d be great if you could come and join us!  SacAnime is the biggest three day anime convention in the California central valley, and it’s growing every year!

DoujinPress will be located at the Artist Alley, and Melanie will be there!  There will also be some new doujinshi from her at the table, so stay tuned for announcements~  Something about My Little Pony and PMD Explorers 2~
